It was based on the light novel series of the same title written by Yukiya Murasaki. The first season was released under Ajia-do Animation Works. The first season aired from July 5 to September 20, 2018. The series ran for 12 episodes. At that time, the anime was a hit. It placed 7th on Crunchyroll’s most viewed in 2019.
With the new update release date for season 2 has been confirmed. How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Season 2 will officially be premiering on Thursday, April 8th, 2021. To celebrate the confirmation of its premiere date, the official Twitter account for the series released a new visual teasing new characters appearing in season 2.
How Not to Summon A Demon Lord season 2 will have almost the same cast as it had for season 1. The only difference from the first season is that this time, it will be released under Tezuka Productions and Okuruto Noboru and Murano will be replaced by Satoshi Kuwabara as the anime’s new director.
